2018 Pan American Youth Olympic Games Qualifier (girls’ field hockey)

The 2018 youth qualifier for girls’ field hockey, also called the 2018 Youth Pan American Championship, took place March 12–17 in Guadalajara, Mexico. It was the third edition of the tournament. Six teams played in one pool; the top four advanced to the semifinals, while the bottom two played for 5th place. Each match lasted 20 minutes.

Argentina won the title (their third), Uruguay finished second, and Mexico finished third. Since Argentina was already qualified for the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics as hosts, the Olympic spots went to Uruguay and Mexico.

Statistics: 20 matches were played and 145 goals were scored (about 7.25 per match). Top scorer: Celina Di Santo with 15 goals.
