2014 Fresno State Bulldogs football team
The 2014 Fresno State Bulldogs football team represented California State University, Fresno in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS season. Led by third-year head coach Tim DeRuyter, they played their home games at Bulldog Stadium and competed in the Mountain West Conference, West Division.
They finished 6–8 overall and 5–3 in conference play, tying for first in the West Division. They earned the division title because of a head-to-head win over San Diego State. The Bulldogs then lost the Mountain West Championship Game to Boise State, 14–28. They were invited to the Hawaii Bowl, where they lost to Rice, 6–30.
Offensively, the team ran a spread scheme under offensive coordinator Dave Schramm. Defensively, coordinator Nick Toth used a 3–4 base defense.
