The 2011 Huddersfield Giants season was a solid overall campaign. They finished 4th in Super League XVI with 18 wins and 12 losses, and they were in the top four three times during the year. However, after a strong start, they hit a mid-season slump and ultimately finished behind every other Yorkshire team.

In the playoffs, Huddersfield were eliminated in two straight games. They lost to Warrington Wolves 0–47 in the qualifying play-off and then were beaten by Leeds Rhinos 28–34 in the preliminary semi-final.

In the Challenge Cup, the Giants reached the quarter-finals. They beat Batley (28–18) and Catalans (30–16) before losing to Castleford Tigers (18–22).
