2010 Holland Series
In the 2010 Holland Series, DOOR Neptunus beat L&D Amsterdam 4 games to 2 to win the Dutch Championship. It was Neptunus’s 13th title and their second in a row, passing Haarlem Nicols’ 12 (the Haarlem club is now defunct). The series MVP was Australian pitcher Dushan Ruzic of Neptunus. He won Game 2 (4.2 innings in relief) and Game 5 (2 innings in relief), and earned the save in Game 3 (2.2 innings to close). Across the series, Ruzic pitched 9 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts, 2 walks, and just 2 hits allowed. Neptunus also had three come-from-behind victories in the six-game series.
