1990 Maryland Comptroller election
The 1990 Maryland comptroller election was held on November 6, 1990, to elect the state's comptroller. Incumbent Democrat Louis L. Goldstein won reelection, defeating Republican Larry Mark Epstein. Goldstein received 770,232 votes (72.13%), while Epstein received 297,661 votes (27.87%), a margin of 472,571 votes. Goldstein was sworn in for his ninth term on January 3, 1991, keeping the office in Democratic control.
