1965 Tasman Series
1965 Tasman Series: a motor racing series in New Zealand and Australia for Tasman Formula cars. It ran from 9 January to 1 March and included seven races—the second Tasman Series. Jim Clark won the series driving a Lotus 32B Coventry Climax. In each race, the top six finishers earned points. Drivers could count points from the New Zealand Grand Prix, their two best results from the other New Zealand races, and all Australian races toward their total. Some earned points were not retained in the final standings.
