1923 Liberian general election
General elections were held in Liberia in 1923. Charles D. B. King of the True Whig Party was re-elected as President, defeating Samuel G. Harmon of the People's Party. Harmon's running mate was Thomas J. R. Faulkner. The election results were widely believed to be rigged: King reportedly received about 45,000 votes, while only about 6,000 Liberians were eligible to vote.
