Yashbak min Mahdi (died 1480) was a senior Mamluk commander under Sultan Qaitbay. He began his career in Upper Egypt, earning a reputation for courage and cruelty. In 1468 he was promoted to dawadar kabir and soon became Qaitbay’s closest adviser. In 1480 he left Egypt to try to conquer Urfa from the Aq Qoyunlu, but was captured and executed there.
