Wu Chengzhang
Wu Chengzhang (born February 8, 1924) is a Chinese basketball player and coach. He competed for China in the 1948 Summer Olympics, where the team finished 18th. In a game against Iraq, he scored 32 points, the highest single-game score for a Chinese player at those Olympics. After the Games, he returned to Shanghai to play and coach basketball until he retired. He is respected as one of China’s last surviving players from the 1948 Olympics, and he turned 100 on February 8, 2024.
