Wim van de Donk
Wim van de Donk (born 17 May 1962 in Veghel) is a Dutch former politician and academic. He served as the King’s Commissioner of North Brabant from 1 October 2009 to 1 October 2020 and is a member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA). Since 19 November 2020 he has been the president of Tilburg University.
He studied public administration at Radboud University Nijmegen and Tilburg University, and worked at the Ministry of Justice. From 1999 to 2009 he was a professor of public administration at Tilburg University, and from 2004 to 2009 he was president of the Dutch Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR). He is married with two daughters and is Catholic.
