WRBQ-FM (104.7 FM), known as Q105, is a Tampa Bay area radio station playing classic hits. It is owned by Beasley Broadcast Group. The studios are in St. Petersburg, and the transmitter is in Palm River-Clair Mel. WRBQ broadcasts in HD Radio, with HD2 airing all-podcasts from WJBR.

The station first went on the air in June 1954 as WPKM, a rare stand-alone FM station. It started with a beautiful music format and later became WEZX in 1972. On December 13, 1973, it switched to Top 40 as WRBQ-FM “Q105.” The first song on Q105 was If You're Ready (Come Go with Me) by the Staple Singers. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Q105 featured popular morning hosts like Cleveland Wheeler and Scott Shannon, who helped create the first “morning zoo” show in the U.S.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, competition from WFLZ’s aggressive Top 40 format pressured Q105. The station began moving toward a rhythmic direction and then an adult lean. In 1993, WRBQ-FM flipped to country, keeping the Q105 name and becoming a strong rival in Tampa’s country scene. In 1999, the station was sold to Infinity (later CBS Radio) and briefly swapped formats with WYUU, becoming Oldies 104.7 in 2002. The Q105 branding returned in 2005, and by 2010 the station shifted to classic hits, branding itself as “The Greatest Hits of All Time.”

CBS Radio traded its Tampa stations to Beasley in 2014. In 2020, the MJ Morning Show returned to WRBQ, moving Mason Dixon to afternoons; Dixon left in 2022 amid company layoffs. In 2024, WRBQ faced controversy after layoffs including popular host Froggy.

WRBQ has also served as a flagship station for sports, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the past. In 2025, WRBQ became the flagship for South Florida Bulls football.
