Tibor Zádor
Tibor Zádor was a Hungarian diplomat who served as Hungary’s chargé d'affaires ad interim in the United States from January 19, 1957, to February 14, 1962. He took the job after the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, at a time when the United States did not recognize the new Kádár government installed after the Soviet invasion. Zádor's main task was to restore and normalize the frozen relationship between Hungary and the United States. He had a high degree of autonomy in this role. He was preceded by Péter Kós and succeeded by János Radványi.
