This Man Craig is a BBC Scotland TV drama that aired 52 episodes in 1966 and 1967. It is set at Strathaird School, a fictional secondary school in a Scottish town, and focuses on Ian Craig, an idealistic science teacher and housemaster played by John Cairney. Episodes were filmed at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Academy and Knightswood Secondary School. The series aired in two blocks: 26 episodes from January 7 to July 1, 1966, and 26 episodes from September 17, 1966, to March 21, 1967. Only two episodes survive in the BBC Archives: "Dougie" and "The Time Wasters." The opening scene shows Ian Craig driving over the Forth Road Bridge, a Scottish icon at the time. Almost all episodes are missing.
