Terrible (label)
Terrible, formerly Terrible Records, is a Los Angeles–based record label and artist management company founded in 2009 by Chris Taylor and Ethan Silverman. It began in Brooklyn as a joint venture between XL Recordings and Beggars Group and was distributed by Universal Music Group. After a brief period as an imprint with Interscope, Terrible now distributes independently through Stem Distribution. In recent years, Silverman has focused more on artist management, working with Claud, Sir Chloe, Petey, Exum, The Slaps, Mila Degray, Kali, Liam Benzvi and others. The label aims to support rising artists with releases in small formats like 7" and 10" EPs. Chris Taylor also released solo material as CANT, including the debut album Dreams Come True on September 13, 2011, via Terrible.
