Tedi Dobi
Tedi Dobi is an Albanian lawyer who has served as Deputy Minister of Justice since April 3, 2024. He is also the government’s Negotiator for Judiciary and Fundamental Rights in Albania’s process of joining the European Union.
Born on July 25, 1991 in Tirana, Dobi studied at Li Po Chun United World College in Hong Kong. He earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Law and Politics from the University of Edinburgh, a Master of Laws from Cornell University, and completed executive studies at Harvard University.
Earlier in his career, Dobi worked as a legal expert on Albania’s EU integration and anti-corruption efforts, including the SEI project and other EU programs. From 2017 to 2021 he contributed to the EURALIUS project, helping draft and implement justice reform, civil and administrative law, anti-corruption measures, and improvements to the Supreme Court and Ministry of Justice staff organization.
He also served as an advisor at the Prime Minister’s Office through the LEAD Albania program, assisting with priority laws and international agreements. In addition, he has taught at the University of Tirana (Social Security Law and Business Law) and works as a trainer on business law, ethics, and legislative drafting to align laws with EU standards.
