Surprise Supplies is a live album by Caravan, released in 1999. It was recorded on 4 May 1976 at the New Victoria Theatre in London, during a tour to promote Blind Dog at St. Dunstans. The 55:18 set is in the progressive rock Canterbury style and was released by HTD. The performance features songs from Blind Dog at St. Dunstans and includes Love in Your Eye from Waterloo Lily (1972). In Caravan’s release sequence, it sits after Live: Canterbury Comes to London (1999) and before All Over You...Too (2000). Some material from a May 5, 1976 show recorded for John Peel’s BBC Radio show was later issued on Ether Way: BBC Sessions 1975-77 (1998).
