Starkeya koreensis
Starkeya koreensis is a species of bacteria in the Xanthobacteraceae family. It is Gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming and non-motile. It was isolated from the stem of rice straw in Daejon, Korea. It belongs to the domain Bacteria; phylum Pseudomonadota; class Alphaproteobacteria; order Hyphomicrobiales. The binomial name is Starkeya koreensis. It was described in 2006. Type strains include CIP 109384, DSM 18406, IAM 15215, JCM 21669, Jip08, KCTC 12212 and NBRC 100963.
