Southborough station (MBTA)
Southborough station is a MBTA commuter rail stop on the Framingham/Worcester Line in Southborough, Massachusetts. It sits near the intersection of Cordaville Street and River Street (MA 85) in the Cordaville area. The parking area is off River Street next to the inbound platform. Access to the platforms is via ramps and stairs under the tracks to reach River Street.

History in brief
- A station at Southborough (later called Southville) existed by 1838; rebuilt in 1852; service to both the Southborough and Cordaville stations continued until 1960.
- Worcester service was restored in 1994 to mitigate delays on the Old Colony Lines, initially running Framingham to Worcester with later added park-and-ride stops.
- In 2000, concerns about traffic led Ashland, Southborough, and Westborough to open three new stations within about 90 days. The project cost about $14.2 million.
- Southborough and Westborough opened on June 22, 2002; Ashland opened on August 24, 2002.
- A Marlborough shuttle service to two Marlborough locations began on September 16, 2019.
