Soot and Gold, or Nokea ja kultaa, is a 1945 Finnish drama directed by Edvin Laine. It stars Edvin Laine, Ansa Ikonen, and Veli-Matti Kaitala. The screenplay was written by Toivo Kauppinen and Olavi Veistäjä. The film was produced by T.J. Särkkä for Suomen Filmiteollisuus, with music by Heikki Aaltoila, cinematography by Felix Forsman, and editing by Armas Vallasvuo. It runs 88 minutes and is in Finnish. It was released on October 21, 1945.
