Sleep Like Breathing is a song by English singer Alison Moyet, performed as a duet with David Freeman. The song appears on Raindancing as the fifth track and was later issued as a single. Its release sparked media rumors of a romance between Moyet and Freeman, which Freeman denied. Sleep Like Breathing reached number 80 in the UK charts. Critics called it a hypnotic, atmospheric ballad and praised the vocal duet and production, though opinions were mixed. Some reviewers saw the song as a standout on Raindancing, while others dismissed it as dull or overly sentimental. The single’s B-side was a live version of Love Resurrection, and there were several 7-inch and 12-inch releases. A music video was produced for the track.
