Shakti is a 2011 Telugu fantasy action film directed by Meher Ramesh. It stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr. (JR Jr.) and Ileana D'Cruz, with a supporting cast that includes Prabhu, Manjari Phadnis, S. P. Balasubramanyam, Vidyut Jammwal, Pooja Bedi, Jackie Shroff, Sonu Sood, and Nassar. The movie was produced by C. Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, with music by Mani Sharma. The film runs for 158 minutes.

Plot
Shakti, a tourist guide, meets Aishwarya, the daughter of a government minister who guards a magical gem. A dangerous group wants the gem and a powerful weapon it conceals. Sakthi discovers he is Rudra’s son, the protector of the gem, and uses his growing powers to protect Aishwarya. The chase takes them through Jaipur, Kashmir, Haridwar, and finally to Hampi, where Sakthi fights to retrieve the weapon and uncover the truth about his past. In the end, he defeats the villains, returns the weapon to its rightful place, and leaves with Aishwarya.

Release and reception
Shakti released on 1 April 2011 and later had a Tamil and Malayalam dubbed version titled Om Sakthi released on 2 April 2011. The film received very negative reviews from critics and was a box office failure, though some praised its visuals, music, and action sequences. The soundtrack, composed by Mani Sharma, released on 27 February 2011.
