Samsung Galaxy A70
Samsung Galaxy A70 and A70s are large, affordable smartphones from Samsung’s Galaxy A series, released in 2019. They’re built for a big screen experience and long battery life.
Key specs:
- Display: 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, 1080x2400, 20:9 ratio, with a wide (Infinity-U) notch.
- Performance: Snapdragon 675 with 6GB or 8GB RAM; 64GB or 128GB storage (expandable via microSD up to 512GB).
- Battery and charging: 4500 mAh with 25W fast charging.
- Cameras: A70 has triple rear cameras — 32 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide, 5 MP depth — plus a 32 MP front camera. A70s upgrades the main rear camera to 64 MP; ultrawide and depth sensors remain.
- Software: Android 9 Pie with One UI at launch, updated later to Android 11.
- Other features: Dual SIM, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, under-display fingerprint sensor; scene optimizer for photos.
- Design and size: about 164 x 76 x 7.9 mm and around 183 g; glass back with a premium look (A70s variant has a “3D Prism” design).
- Connectivity: 2G/3G/4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC for Samsung Pay.
- Variants and release: A70 announced in early 2019 and released March 26, 2019; A70s released in India on September 27, 2019. The Galaxy A71 is the successor, announced in late 2019 and released in 2020.
