Salisbury (1781 ship) — Short history
- Built in Havana around 1761 under another name.
- Entered British ownership in 1781 as Salisbury, a West Indiaman (Portsmouth–Jamaica).
- 1785 renamed Rebecca, used in the northern whale fishery.
- 1787 renamed Harpooner, a northern whaler in the Davis Strait.
- Wrecked in 1789 on the coast near Cherbourg while returning from Setúbal (St Ubes).
