Sahanambohitra
Sahanambohitra is a town and commune in Madagascar, in the Manakara district of the Vatovavy-Fitovinany Region. It lies at 21°52′S, 47°48′E and sits about 134 meters above sea level. The population was around 5,000 in 2001. About 99% of residents are farmers, with rice as the main crop and coffee and cassava also grown. Only primary schooling is available. About 1% of the population works in services. The time zone is East Africa Time (UTC+3).
