SNCASO Farfadet
SNCASO SO.1310 Farfadet was a French experimental convertiplane developed in the 1950s by SNCASO. It was a compound gyroplane that combined a three-bladed rotor powered by tip jets, a fixed wing, and a turboprop engine driving a nose-mounted propeller. The design aimed to enable vertical takeoff and landing as well as forward flight. It first flew on 8 May 1953 and transitioned to forward flight on 1 July 1953.
