SA's Got Talent season 7
SA's Got Talent season 7 aired in 2016 on e.tv from September 4 to November 6. Mo Mahlangu was the host, with DJ Fresh and Shado Twala returning as judges and Jamie Bartlett joining the judging panel.
The show started with open auditions, which then moved to televised judges auditions with a live audience. Five episodes of judges auditions narrowed hundreds of acts down to 21 for the semifinals. The semifinals took place over three episodes, with seven acts per episode.
There were three results episodes in which two acts from each episode advanced to the finals. In total, six acts reached the finals. Kryptonite Dance Academy won the grand prize of R500,000. Result show guests included Matthew Mole, Fifi Cooper, Aewon Wolf and Moonchild, and Kwesta.
Season 7 sits between Season 6 and Season 8.
