Royal Crown Revue is a swing and jump blues band from Los Angeles, formed in 1989. They are seen as pioneers of the swing revival. Core members included Mark and Adam Stern from the punk group Youth Brigade, along with Daniel Glass, Scott Steen, James Achor, Veikko Lepisto, Bill Ungerman, and Eddie Nichols. They released music on BYO, Surfdog, and Warner Bros. After appearing in the movie The Mask, they began a residency at the Derby in Los Angeles, where they played regularly.
