Rongjeng Assembly constituency
Rongjeng is Constituency No. 42 of Meghalaya's Legislative Assembly. It is located in East Garo Hills district in northeast India and is part of the Tura Lok Sabha constituency. The seat was established in 1972 and has 35,340 electors. It is reserved for Scheduled Tribes. In 2023, Jim Sangma of the National People’s Party (NPP), aligned with the NDA, was elected as the MLA. Rongjeng is one of Meghalaya’s 60 assembly constituencies.
