Pimelea humilis, commonly known as common riceflower or dwarf riceflower, is a small flowering shrub in the Thymelaeaceae family. It is native to south-eastern Australia.

Description
- Growth: erect or scrambling shrub up to 50 cm tall, with densely hairy young stems.
- Leaves: opposite pairs, narrow elliptic to lance-shaped, about 5–16 mm long and 1–9 mm wide.
- Flowers: arranged in clusters of 12–52 on a short stalk, surrounded by 4–6 green, egg-shaped bracts with a yellow base. Flowers are creamy-white, with a tube 8–15 mm long; sepals 1–5 mm long; stamens shorter than the sepals.
- Flowering: September to December.
- Fruit: green, about 4 mm long.

Taxonomy and name
- Described by Robert Brown in 1810. The name humilis means “low-growing.”

Habitat and distribution
- Grows in heath, woodland, forest and grassland, often in sandy soil.
- Widespread and common in Victoria; less common in New South Wales (found at Robertson and south of Eden); also occurs east of the Mount Lofty Range in South Australia and in north-eastern Tasmania.
