Nong Suea (Thai: หนองเสือ) is a district in the eastern part of Pathum Thani province, central Thailand. It covers about 413.6 square kilometers and had a population of 53,312 in 2017, with a density of around 128.9 people per square kilometer. The postal code is 12170, the geocode is 1304, and the district sits in the ICT time zone (UTC+7). Its coordinates are 14°8′6″N 100°49′27″E.

Neighbouring districts (from north clockwise) are Wang Noi (Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province), Nong Khae and Wihan Daeng (Saraburi), Ban Na and Ongkharak (Nakhon Nayok), and Thanyaburi and Khlong Luang (Pathum Thani).

Origin of the name: A pond in the area once drew tigers from nearby mountains to drink water, giving the place the name “Nong Suea,” meaning tiger pond. Later, the name stuck as the area became known for criminals hiding there.

Administration: Nong Suea district is divided into seven subdistricts (tambons), which contain 70 villages (mubans). Nong Suea township covers part of tambon Nong Suea. There are seven Tambon Administrative Organizations (TAO).

Economy and land use: Although the area has some development, most of Nong Suea is still agricultural with wasteland. The majority of residents work in farming.
