Nissan G engine: A small inline-4 pushrod engine from the 1960s. It has a 1.5 L (1488 cc) displacement, OHV valvetrain, bore of 80 mm and stroke of 74 mm. Output is about 75–85 hp and 83–92 lb-ft of torque, depending on the carburetor. It powered the Fairlady/Sports 1500 roadster, the Cedric, and the Junior, and later evolved into the Datsun 1600’s R/H16 engine. Note: Prince also made a G-series engine, but those are unrelated to Nissan’s.
