Nicolas Felizola
Nicolas Felizola is a Venezuelan photographer, actor, singer, and fashion designer. He started as a fashion photographer and worked with big names like Alexander McQueen and the House of Givenchy. He has won many international awards, including a 2012 Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from the U.S. Congress and the 2012 Personality of the Year Award from OPI at UNESCO in Paris. He has been named Best Designer at Miami Fashion Week and received the Miami Fashion Icon award from Tiffany & Co for his Prive and Uomo collections. He also won the Zanetti Murano Award in Italy and other honors, including the Universal Excellence Award. In 2018 he received the Key to the City of Miami and was honored with an official day in Doral, Florida on May 9. Forbes named him America's Young Fashion Designer, recognizing him among influential Hispanic designers like Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta.
In 2009 Felizola released Enamorada, a spring/summer collection inspired by Mexican star Maria Félix, celebrating her love of fashion and the art of dressing with details like silk fabrics, embroidery, beading, and lace. Earlier, in 2008, he presented the Del Cuore collection at New York Fashion Week during a charity luncheon for the AROD Family Foundation, hosted by Alex Rodriguez and his wife. He described Del Cuore as a collection born from the heart and focused on a woman's passion.
