Niclas Thiede (born 14 April 1999) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for VfL Bochum in the 2. Bundesliga. He was born in Hagen, Germany, and is 1.87 meters tall.

Thiede grew up playing for SSV Hagen, FC Iserlohn, Borussia Dortmund, Rot-Weiss Essen and VfL Bochum. He started his senior career with SC Freiburg II (2018–2021) and made one Bundesliga appearance for SC Freiburg in 2019, coming on as a substitute after the injury to Alexander Schwolow in a match against Union Berlin. He was loaned to SC Verl for the 2021–22 season (29 appearances) and then joined Verl permanently for 2022–23 (27 appearances).

In 2023 he moved to VfL Bochum. In 2024 he went on loan to SSV Ulm for the 2024–25 season (17 appearances so far).

Thiede has represented Germany at the youth level, including the U18, U19 and U20 teams.
