Newtownards was a borough constituency in the Irish House of Commons, representing the town of Newtownards in County Down. The town was incorporated on 1 April 1613, and the incorporation gave it the right to send two burgesses to Parliament. From 1613 to 1800, Newtownards elected two MPs to the Irish Parliament. In 1800, the Acts of Union merged Ireland into the United Kingdom, and the borough was disenfranchised, no longer sending MPs.
