New Ideas for Monaco

New Ideas for Monaco (NIM) is a Monegasque political group led by Daniel Boéri. Boéri left the Priorité Monaco party in July 2022, and NIM was formed. It registered on 16 January 2023 and ran 13 candidates in the 2023 National Council election, opposing the ruling Monegasque National Union. NIM describes itself as environmentally focused with a centre-left stance, using red and magenta colors and the slogan "Monegasque non-inscrits" (non-enrolled Monaco residents). In the 2023 election, NIM did not win any seats (0 out of 24). The group emphasizes environmental, social, and democratic issues and proposed starting a public debate on abortion in Monaco, where abortion was still illegal in 2023.
