Myrtleville, or Baile an Chuainín in Irish, is a small seaside village in County Cork, Ireland. The name means “town of the small harbour.” It lies just west of Cork Harbour, in the townlands of Ballinluska and Myrtleville. The village has a few amenities: one grocery shop, a pub, and a restaurant.

Historically, Myrtleville and nearby estate houses are linked to the Daunt family, especially Myrtleville House. Another waterfront property, Bunnyconnellan, began as a cottage around 1824 and later operated for many years as a restaurant, bar, and hotel until it closed in 2022.

Development plans from the late 20th century kept the village’s character in mind, allowing modern houses but with limits, such as only permitting one-storey houses plus attics.

At the top of Myrtleville Hill is the Crosshaven rugby club’s sports ground. The beach at Myrtleville is used by swimmers year-round and hosts regular fundraising swims.
