Movies, Games and Videos
Movies, Games and Videos was a British TV show on ITV that ran from 22 March 1991 to 6 February 2005. It had 10 series, with each episode about 30 minutes long. The programme reviewed the latest releases in movies, video games, and videos, and also covered new game systems, game creators, and conventions. Steve Priestley narrated the show.
Produced by Capricorn Programmes for London Weekend Television (later Yorkshire Television, HTV, and finally UTV), the show was syndicated to various countries, and local broadcasters could re-voice content if needed.
There was no fixed schedule; the show appeared in different regional slots. It began on Saturday lunchtimes in varying times, but regional scheduling varied. Over time, many regions dropped the show, and by spring 1998 only a few stations still aired it. From 2002 to February 2005 it was shown only in Northern Ireland on UTV.
