Mortefontaine is a small commune in northern France, in the Aisne department of the Hauts-de-France region. It’s part of the Soissons arrondissement and the Vic-sur-Aisne canton. The town covers 111.9 square kilometers. In 2023, about 208 people lived there, giving a low population density of roughly 17.5 people per square kilometer.
