Monk (crater)
Monk is a 12-kilometer-wide crater on Mercury. It sits at about 66°05′N, 296°11′W in the Borealis region. The crater is named after Thelonious Monk, the American jazz pianist and composer, with the name approved by the International Astronomical Union in 2013.
