Mathey College
Mathey College is one of Princeton University’s seven residential colleges. It sits in the northwest corner of the campus and features Collegiate Gothic buildings arranged around a large central courtyard with a sand volleyball court. Since 2007, it has been a four-year college paired with Rockefeller College, serving about 500 undergraduate students. The college’s buildings include Campbell Hall, Joline Hall, Blair Hall, Hamilton Hall (which houses the dining hall and common room), Edwards Hall, and parts of Little Hall. Not all buildings are on the main courtyard. Mathey is famous for Blair Arch, the largest arch on campus, which hosts arch sings and a cappella concerts and is seen in the movie A Beautiful Mind. The college is named after Dean Mathey of the Class of 1912. The dean is Dr. Michael Olin, and as of fall 2018 the Head of the College is Professor Stacey Sinclair of the Psychology Department.
