Manfred Grund (born 3 July 1955 in Zeitz, East Germany) is a German politician from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). He studied electrical engineering at the Dresden University of Technology, earning his diploma in 1980, and worked as a turbine engineer and later as a specialist engineer for the Erfurt Public Utility Works. After the 1989 revolution, he entered politics, joining the CDU in January 1990 and taking on roles in Eichsfeld and Thuringia. He was head of the Heiligenstadt district administration from 1990 to 1994.

In 1994 he was elected to the German Bundestag for Nordhausen – Worbis – Heiligenstadt (the district’s name was later changed). Grund has held leadership positions in the CDU/CSU parliamentary group, including parliamentary secretary and since 1998 as chairman of the Thuringian CDU/CSU group. His parliamentary work includes membership in the Council of Elders, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (as a deputy member); he also participates in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the German-Central Asian parliamentary group.

In October 2024, Grund announced that he will not seek re-election to the Bundestag. He is Roman Catholic and lives with his wife in Heiligenstadt, Thuringia.
