List of wind farms in Victoria

Victoria has strong wind resources along the southern coast and in higher-altitude areas. Most wind farms are built along the southern coast and around Ballarat, Ararat, and Hamilton. As of 2021, the state's wind capacity was about 2,888 MW. Many wind farms are under construction, and more have been proposed or approved. The total potential capacity, including operating, under construction, and approved projects, is around 8,000 MW, roughly matching Victoria’s peak electricity use of about 8,000–10,000 MW. Wind farms in Victoria with more than 4 MW of capacity include: Yambuk, Cape Bridgewater, Cape Nelson South, Cape Sir William Grant, and Cape Nelson North.
