Lam Yiu Sing is a Hong Kong actor born in 1988 or 1989. He is best known for playing Tse Chi-lung in the 2016 film Weeds on Fire and for the younger David in the ViuTV romance series Margaret & David.

Lam grew up with an older brother in a public housing estate in Tuen Mun. He didn’t do well in school and left after Form 5, working various jobs including mall renovation. When he was 17, director Heiward Mak spotted him on a sports field and cast him in her drama film High Noon. This started his interest in acting. He began auditioning for roles and acted in student projects and short films while continuing labor work, such as training as an air conditioning maintenance apprentice.

In 2014 he again worked with Heiward Mak in Uncertain Relationship Society. His breakout came in 2016 as Tse Chi-lung, a baseball player on a real Hong Kong team that won its first gold in baseball, in Weeds on Fire. That year he also co-starred as the younger David in Margaret & David – Green Bean.

Lam kept getting lead roles, including 100 Days of Love II in 2017. In 2018 he played musician Danny Yip in House of The Rising Sons and starred in Keyboard Warriors with Neo Yau. In 2019 he co-starred as Bunny in We Are Legends, appeared in Suk Suk, and starred in Toy Stories, a segment of the 2020 anthology film Memories to Choke On, Drinks to Wash Them Down.

In 2021 he played the younger Patrick Tse in Time and won Best Movie Character of the Year at the Hong Kong Screenwriters’ Guild Awards. In 2022 he had a main role in the mystery thriller web series Chasing the Times and played the younger Tony Leung in Where the Wind Blows. In 2024 he had a main role in the ViuTV legal drama Legal Affair and played the younger Sam Lee in the action film Stuntman.

Lam began dating actress and model Charlotte Cheung in June 2016 and they split in November 2019. In 2023 he opened an izakaya in Mong Kok with singer Yuri Chan.
