Krasnoselsky District is one of the twenty-four administrative and municipal districts in Kostroma Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast and covers 950 square kilometers. The administrative center is Krasnoye-na-Volge, an urban-type settlement.

As of the 2010 census, the district population was 17,845, and Krasnoye-na-Volge accounted for about 43% of the district’s people. The 2021 census recorded 16,148 residents.

Administratively, the district has 1 urban-type settlement and 169 rural localities. Municipally, Krasnoselsky District is organized as Krasnoselsky Municipal District with 1 urban settlement and 8 rural settlements.
