1953 Grand Prix des Frontières

On 24 May 1953, a non-championship Formula Two race was held on the Chimay street circuit in Chimay, Belgium. The temporary circuit was 10.827 km long, and the race covered 20 laps (about 216.5 km).

Maurice Trintignant took pole position and also set the fastest lap, both with a time of 4 minutes 11 seconds, driving a Gordini.

The winner was Maurice Trintignant in a Gordini Type 16. Roger Laurent finished second in a Ferrari 500, and Fred Wacker was third in another Gordini Type 16.
