Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (KSIDC) is the government’s industrial and investment promotion agency for Kerala. Founded in 1961, it is a public sector company headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, with a regional office in Kochi.

KSIDC promotes medium and large-scale industries in Kerala and acts as the nodal agency for foreign and domestic investments. It helps investors by processing incentive schemes and facilitating interactions between the government and the industrial sector.

What it does: identifies Kerala’s infrastructure needs, structures projects, and drives balanced growth of the state’s core sectors.

Impact: KSIDC has promoted over 700 projects with investment of more than Rs 8000 crore, creating over 1 lakh jobs.
