Kapital is a Norwegian business magazine based in Oslo. It was founded in 1971 by Trygve Hegnar, who remains the magazine’s editor-in-chief. The magazine is published biweekly. Kapital is known for its annual lists of Norway’s 400 richest people. It has also published other annual lists, including Norway’s Most Powerful Women (2010–2017) and Norway’s Best Analysts. In 1997, Kapital had a circulation of about 40,000 copies.
