Josh Thewlis (born 30 April 2002) is an English rugby league player who plays as a fullback or winger for the Warrington Wolves in the Super League. He was born in Grasscroft, Oldham, Greater Manchester, and is 6 ft tall and about 90 kg. He grew up playing for Waterhead Warriors and is of Irish descent; he represented Ireland at under-16 level in 2017. His brother Jake Thewlis also plays for Warrington.

Thewlis made his Super League debut for Warrington in 2019 in a win over Catalans Dragons. In 2023 he scored two tries against Catalans and played 21 games as Warrington finished sixth and reached the playoffs, though he did not play in their elimination loss to St Helens. In October 2023 he was named in the England squad for a test against Tonga.

On 17 March 2024 he scored a hat-trick in Warrington's 58-4 win over London. He played in Warrington's 2024 Challenge Cup final defeat to Wigan and appeared 22 times that season as the Wolves reached the semi-finals. In 2025 he played 25 games as Warrington finished eighth and missed the playoffs.

Thewlis has also represented England Knights since 2022.
