Flamingo Aerospace is a private Indian aerospace company based in Hyderabad. It was founded on 28 April 2022 by entrepreneur Pappula Subhakar, who serves as CEO. The company aims to make aviation in India more affordable, sustainable, and innovative.

In December 2025, during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to India, several agreements were signed to boost joint aerospace production. In January 2026, a Russian-made Ilyushin Il-114 aircraft from United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) visited Hyderabad for Wings India, and Flamingo Aerospace and UAC announced a partnership. On 28 January 2026, they signed a preliminary deal to deliver six Il-114-300 aircraft produced in Russia by 2028. UAC plans to help Flamingo build capabilities in aircraft assembly, maintenance and repair, and interior fittings, starting with MRO facilities and interiors and expanding to more assembly and localization from 2030. Flamingo is not expected to be the end user; the planes will help grow Flamingo’s capabilities, with the option to lease the aircraft to Indian carriers in the future.
