Jessica López Saffie
Jessica Teresa López Saffie (born 18 December 1956) is a Chilean economist and politician who serves as Chile's Minister of Public Works. She has held the position since 11 March 2022 under President Gabriel Boric. She was also the head of BancoEstado from 27 April 2022 to 10 March 2023. López Saffie was born in Santiago and studied at the University of Chile. Her parents are Armando López and Margarita Saffie. She has been affiliated with the Communist Party (in the 1970s) and the Socialist Party.
